Summer Sunsets

I love driving with my mom to a destination with a beautiful sunset, especially in summer! A couple of nights ago, we thought it would be fun to drive west to see the Sahara dust storm sunset. It was magnificent. I stood up through the sunroof and felt like I was standing on top of the world while I admired the orange summer sky.

In the opposite direction, I spotted a beautiful formation of clouds. It almost looked like cotton candy! The sky fascinates me; it can look orange in one glance, but with a turn of the head, it appears blue and pink. I captured an additional image of the sky that night with the blue/pink coloring. You wouldn’t think these were taken both on the same night!
